Holding Tanks

Where a whole septic system is not possible a holding tank may be required. Unlike a septic tank that digests and separates our waste, these only hold waste and water. Frequent and expensive pump outs are needed here. These are available from 3600 litres (800 gal.) to 9000 litres (2000 gal.) Generally municipalities have minimum requirements for holding tank use.



Oil Interceptors -
Waste water from garage floors or car washes needs to be cleaned up before being discharged into field drains or municipal sewers. These are three chamber tanks that separate the dirt and oil from waste water.
